Privacy Policy

Ascerta (ascerta.co) is an early-access preview of a benefits reconciliation product. This site is a marketing and validation preview: it presents an interactive demo built on fictional data and lets you request early access. It does not process your payroll, HRIS or carrier data.

We keep the data we collect to the minimum this preview needs.

• Early-access details. If you request early access, we collect your email address, and your name, company and role if you choose to give them. We also record whether you indicated interest in the founding rate.
• Product analytics. We use PostHog to understand how visitors move through the site and the demo, so we can improve it. This includes pages viewed, actions taken and general device and referrer information. If you request early access, we also give PostHog the email address, company and role you provided, so that your earlier visits can be recognised as yours.
• Demo activity. The demo runs in your browser on fictional data. The changes you make inside it are not saved to our servers.
• Technical information. Our servers and our analytics provider receive your IP address, your browser and device type, and the page that referred you. In our own records we keep your IP address only as a one-way hash, which lets us tell repeat visits apart without identifying you. Our analytics and hosting providers may hold the address itself in their logs under their own policies.
• Links and referrals. Links we send by email, and links visitors share from the demo, carry a token in the address. The token identifies the link, not the person opening it. It tells us which message a visit came from and whether a link has been forwarded on. We record when a link is opened, but we are not told who opened it and we do not see the recipients of anything you forward.
• Where a request came from. If you request early access, we store the link and campaign details that brought you to us, so we know which of our messages reached you.

• To contact you about early access and product updates.
• To measure interest and improve the demo and the site.
• To see which of our messages and channels bring people to the demo, so we send fewer and better ones.
• To understand who the product is for.

We do not sell your information. We do not use it for advertising.

We share information only with the service providers that run this site on our behalf, such as our analytics provider (PostHog), our email provider (Resend) and our hosting providers. They process it only to provide their service to us. We may also disclose information where the law requires it.

We use a small number of cookies and similar technologies for analytics. We also use your browser’s own storage to remember, for the length of your visit, which link or campaign brought you here, so that it is still known if you go on to request early access. You can block cookies in your browser; the site will still work.

We keep early-access details until the preview ends or until you ask us to delete them, whichever comes first. To have your information removed, email us at privacy@ascerta.co.
